A startled gasp sounded from the Puppeteer, almost dropping the small stack of books she had been carrying in her arms. “Can I help you?" She asked, taking a step back to put some distance between them. It was easy to recognize the other as a Batter but still different from the others she had met. A stranger and thus meant being that close to her was a big no no.
"Are you in need of my purification methods?" "You are, aren't you?" "I can feel it beneath my pasty white, paper-thin, s͓̙̭͉͉̪̥̍̄̎͞k̶̜͚̟͎͇ͣ̐̉i̢̤͍ͬ̽n̶͖͚̜̬͇."
"N—…N-Noooo, it’s— hhh…I-I’m fine. I’m rather certain I’m…quite pure, already. Yes."

Mattie practically froze in place when she spotted a batter in her room. Well actually, that wasn’t really the reason she was startled. As she had grown used to people seeming to show up randomly in her room. Weird as it sounded it just seemed to be a common meeting place. However, the true reason was that he was digging through her dresser. Something that held her personal belonging, not to mention her undergarments.
"H-Hey!" She called out, her face flushing with both irritation and embarrassment, "Just what do you think you’re doing in there?!"
"Do you dance?"
"I do dance, but it has been quite some time since I've had anyone willing to be my partner. Might you be offering?"
If I hit a pile of sugar for a long enough time with my bat, will magical things happen?
