Oh! This was someone they hadn’t heard from in a while. Barbed tail even starting to wag by the slightest bit. One of the rare people who didn’t seem to  see them as a monster or demon to be feared. Their magic prodded a bit at the invitation electricity buzzing and crackling as they opened their way into the timeline.

A strike of lightning announced their arrival, curls swaying as they looked around for the yellow monster.

He HATED coming down here.

The True Lab was just constant remind of...well everything. Why he was like this, past failures, memories(why those old camera tapes were down here he would never know), just a constant slap to the face of everything that had lead up to him simply existing.  

Oh we knew the doctor hated it too down here. For the exact same reasons the flower did in fact! Which is why it was sorta weird that they was down here. Well, at least at the moment. He knew why they came down here still. Someone had to watch and take care all of those abominations down here and wouldn’t it be a shame if they somehow got out and were shown to the rest of the Underground? Any reputation the doctor may have had would plummet and she would simply...vanish. It would vengeance for transforming him like this for sure but he has long since been past that petty sort of acts. He already did all of that early on of course.

No, he was more curious to why she was down here right now. She had a certain...schedule when it came to actually coming down here, whether to check on the freaks or feed them. So it was sorta grabbing his curiosity! What if she was attempting a other cure for all of this? Wouldn’t it be great for that to back fire again and ruin things even more! He needed to see! He had been stalking her long enough as it was anywho.

It was also easy to blend into the other flowers down here and suddenly appear in the pile of them too.

“Fancy seeing you down here! And here I thought you were down messing with everything! Miss something?”

* There was a small fire in the room, hovering in the air by a previously preoccupied Toriel’s seat. It was unconstrained by hearth or pit, yet it flickered tamely, never spreading nor burning anything around it; its presence filled the room with a gentle, comfortable warmth. It’s conjurer glanced up from a wire-bound swathe of papers and prints upon her lap, her glasses sliding subtly down her nose.

* “You may.”

* Ah, Dr. Alphys; always with that nervous stutter. She was certainly allowed to have it, but any lingering trepidation would not do, not at all; she reached to a tray set beside her and took a plate to offer its contents, along with a heartening smile.

* “Would you like a biscuit? Goodness knows I have neglected to eat them for long enough.”

The spider cupcake sniffed at the lizard’s hand a few times. A rumbling chitter noise escaped her as she was petted. He shifts around a little looking at Alphys with a slightly tilted head.

“Why yes~ I run a bakery hun~ I usually bake up stock and keep it for a while~ It’s a new month and I had to get some new ingredients~ She doesn’t mind helping carry a big load,as long as she’s by me~ Also her name is Cherie~”

"Brrrr... it's f-f-freezing out here," Alphys said. Used to Hotland's searing heat, she was feeling the chill even more than most.

Pressing up against Mettaton, she sighed comfortably. "I don't know why you wanted to come out this way, but you'd better keep sharing that h-heat, Mettaton," she joked. @thealphashypal

      Walking in long strides, Mettaton eventually had to slow his pace the further they made it to Snowdin just so that the royal scientist wasn't practically jogging after him after every few steps. It was a little harder to walk in the snow, he could only assume. Or it was just short people things. " You think so? I didn't notice. " He comments, casting a smug grin her way as he rejoins her side for probably the tenth time.

    He doesn't object to her walking closer to him or to be more specific, against him. Unfortunately, he doesn't have anything to give her that could help keep her warm. Probably should've brought a spare jacket or something despite the fact that she was already bundled up in a beanie, a scarf, her own coat, and practically drowning in fabric.

     Chuckling out loud, he wraps an arm around her shoulders to help keep her warm. " Alphys, darling, come any closer and you might get paparazzi making speculations! I'm just kidding. " He doesn't acknowledge his reason for coming here - not really. He had a place in mind but he can't quite come up with the right excuse ... so he makes a detour, heading in the direction of a rather popular pub around these parts. 

    " Ever been to Grillby's? I used to come here often. I had to go out of my way to come here but it was worth it. " He wonders if everyone is still there.  “  It’s always warm there.  I think you’ll like it.  ”  Not to mention the atmosphere - it’s very cozy.

" The humans? " as in, there's more than one involved with ... whatever this is?  " I mean... we might as well.  "  since Alphys doesn't seem too concerned about it, he's only assuming it's nothing ... dire. So, be falls in step with her. Still, it doesn't mean his curiosity isn't piqued.

Why aren’t we writing with each other more often? I like your takes on Asgore and Alphys! One moment that stands out to me is when Asgore and Undyne first meet. He saves her face by making her defeat less humiliating, reframing her failure with optimism. He’s giving hope to the people of his kingdom. Even to the kids who are trying to knock him down! It’s very true to Asgore’s character.

As for Bones, I’d like to see how he’d interact with my teen fishy. Like, when she’s doing something stupid. How he would deal with her being bratty. But I’m not sure how my character’s timeline fits with yours, or if your interested in those kinds of shenanigans.
