Buttonwillow Tree

A lone tree landmark on an old trans-valley trail. It was an ancient Yokuts Indian meeting place, later a location for white stock rodeos. Miller and Lux established their headquarters and store here about 1885. The town of Buttonwillow takes its name from this old tree and rodeo grounds. goo.gl/39V5rz

"Depth" I was lucky enough to work with @socalsummers awhile back and get a lot of photos...and this was when she had a 3rd of the follower she has now. Just yesterday she was featured in an article on Cosmopolitan while shooting with photographers in LA. "Positivity" I am excited to start sharing this work with everyone! I recently went out with Instagram model @socalsummers and took a number of pictures of her in the snow. If you don't know Summers, she is a body positivity model and photographer (as well as mother of 2) in the high desert area of Northern Nevada. She was awesome enough to meet with me and allow me to be the first photographer to shoot her for her social media as she shoots all her pictures herself currently. We did a number of sets and locations. and this is the first piece that I have to share. "Farmlife" Awhile back we went and visited our dear friend @emilyrobinanna at her farm and took some shots of her lovely goat children. I love shooting animals, even though often times it is hard and they don't cooperate well.
