Sofia had vastly outgrown all of her clothes by now, and with just a little over 3 months left, she still had plenty of time left for her bump to overtake her frame. With setting up a day to get out of town, she was happy to invite Kendall and Emily along for the ride, and potentially start buying the smaller items for the nursery that she and Brooks still had to find a house for. There were so many things on the upcoming docket that Sofia needed a day away from it all. After picking up her friends, she started their drive towards the larger city for their day out. “They better have cute maternity clothes, because I still need to have my summer fashion.” Sofia stated with a bit of a cheeky grin. “Thanks for coming with me you two. I don’t think I’d have the energy to go by myself.”

A dare, it was childish but at this point in the night, Kendall was too tipsy to do otherwise. Plus, if it meant the guy she was currently with would want to leave sooner, she’d do anything. He pointed to the woman across the bar, Kendall smiling mischievously before walking towards the brunette. “Just go with it,” she stated to the girl when she was right in front of her, leaning and placing a kiss on her lips.

As soon as she spotted the girl coming her way, Pearl’s brows stitched slightly together before she heard her calm voice over the boisterous bar. The younger woman felt a moment bring her closer before the stranger’s lips connected to hers and left her nearly breathless. “What the fuck.” She muttered back almost as quickly as the girl had kissed her. “What are you doing dude?”

While going out with Kendall was always an absolute blast for a million different reasons, Sofia had found an aversion to drinking since feeling that nausea the other day. Convincing her friend to stay in however was going to take some work. “Can’t we just have a girl’s night in? I’ve got loads of binge-able shows recorded.” She paused as she gave Kendall a look. “Plus, I want to hear all about your late night with Mr. Right the other night or any other guy I should know about. Spare no expense on the kinky details.”

Kendall had been sound asleep when she heard the knock on her door. Her eyes barely opened as she looked at the time on her phone, groaning as the knocking continued. The floor was cold as she walked across her apartment to the door, swinging it open to find a very drunk Nate. He was the last person she ever expected, or how he even found her apartment in the state he was in was beyond her. “What are you doing here?” Kendall crossed her arms, realizing now that she was only in a long shirt and underwear.

Nate waited at the door, trying to decide if he should leave or not, though considering he had made it all the way to her apartment, and that not everyone could get up and around as fast as he could, he was willing to wait for just a few minutes. And, as he was holding himself, chuckling to himself slowly, he heard footsteps, and a lazy smile appeared on his face. “Ken! Kenny!” He greeted her with open arms, bringing her in for a hug as his grin only grew wider. “I was in the neighborhood.” He spoke slowly, as to appear less drunk, but it was not working in his favor.
