My brother and I took mom out for lunch yesterday/Tuesday, for a late Mother's Day. It turns out that she was wearing almost everything from me. I found her the turtleneck at Volunteers of America's thrift shop. I hand-knit the wrist warmers out of @colinetteyarns Jitterbug, a birthday gift over 10 years ago. I put together a ribbon corsage for her to wear on Sunday for church (she hates the smell of flowers), and her morning safety buddy put it on her again for the lunch. The sweater I bought her in 1987, when I worked for Casual Corner. Her boyfriend Fred bought her the flower clip in her hair, when he was in Hawaii at Christmas time. It's #PolymerClay. She wears it every single day. I love taking pictures of her when she's singing.
