Ken Khan:

The Monkey king was holding Moriko’s hand, he had planned for her to visit the dragon kingdom a few days before. He lead her to a path in the forest, as the sun was setting. The only thing he told her was that he had a surprise for her.

As he began to walk into the forest with her nighttime had fallen upon them.  But there shouldn’t be any worry because suddenly starting from a distance a blue path of flowers lit up for them. He smiled at the sight. It was natural for these types of plants to glow at night, at least in the Dragon Kingdom.

“Now we just keep on the path.” he said softly with a chuckle.

   Moriko’s minds was filled with more wonder than usual when she followed him. With her hand grasping his in loving manner, she made a silent gasp towards the glowing plants. She always loved things that glowed in the dark and flowers that bloomed at night. This put a big smile on her face.

  When he spoke, she nodded and kept calm. Just  to where could the monkey king leading her to?

      The ebony girl looked outside with emotions of surprise, and irritation of course she would get in a situation like this. The one time Sardonyx decided to actually have fun in her life. Pretending to be a normal teenager for just a one, blissful day in this broken world.

      She came to this festive area with her acquaintance, Felix and some of his friends. The hedgehog had to admit the whole experience pretty amusing, and for a few precious hours it seemed that she had forgotten her origins, as the lights of the carnival danced around her in merriment.

      But then it all came back to her, as whilst she in her feline friend were waiting in line, they had to go into two separate holdings, putting each one of them with unfamiliar people. Sardonyx was sure Felix would be fine, however she was uncertain. As she was not an expert in socializing.

      But, though she didn’t show it, that uncertainty soon slightly faded into relief, as she sensed the mind of a… somewhat familiar individual in the holding with her.

      “You’re that mobian from the bookshop the other day. Sorry to say this but…” the hedgehog then gestured to the ground where the ferris wheel controls were. “…they seem to be having technical difficulties.”

The internet holds various bits of info, both useless and useful as one can learn many things from it’s use. One such info was the learn of the various animals that live on Earth. But where she was not did not seem like Earth, none of the mental maps were showing such proof to change such a thought. Peridot pulled up her digital pad, starting to put another entry into her extensive list to prevent memory loss.
