Well that happened...

We met the Composer today!  The Compiler should have shown up but... well I'll get to that :/

So we asked her about what she knew about artifacts and a bit about herself, especially the "Gossip" artifact that she came into contact with (is that the right phrasing? idk how artifacts work.  None of us do).  Then she said that the reason we moved rooms was because she found something in the other room... with the Compiler.  We went over there and saw the room in disarray-- it was pretty awful.  We looked around and found a bunch of papers with writing on it, by The Compiler.  Here are some of the pictures and the notes we found .____.

We found the hat of the Girl with the Blue Hat there.

That artifact.  It was ripped up.  I tried it on--for some damn reason I thought that was a good idea.  It totally wasn't.  It really wasn't.  I'm getting the same chills up my spine just thinking about it.  I took it off really quickly but Daphne tried it for a little longer so I'll let her talk about that experience .___.  So, fun-gal-treetime​?  Anything?  Maine was WAY too spooked to get anywhere near the hat as curious as she was.  I could tell that she desperately wanted to figure it out but. well. she gets spooked pretty easily and, I guess that keeps her safe but she's going to miss out on tons of stuff in life if she doesn't step up and face some risks sometimes.  Anyway.

We also found notes on several artifacts that the Compiler never told the Composer about.  We followed a note that said she was going to the 4th floor of Cobb.  

I opened up the door and... that the previous room was in disarray was an understatement.  Here's some pictures:

(The Compiler lives in Naperville, actually.  I suggested that we all take a trip there and stop by my house since it's semi-nearby ;D)

We're pretty sure the artifacts have a lot to do with memory and perhaps trapping memories within themselves?  Since apparently the Girl in the Blue Hat is dead (can artifacts die???) maybe that's the reason that the hat that was left over was so damaged.  And that we're trapped inside of something?  Are we artifacts?  Is this world an artifact?  Or are the Atwater Brick artifacts a different universe/AU and the artifacts sorta bridge the gap with them?  Something is wrong with the Compiler though and she is not... herself.  At all.  Could it be from the interaction with the Girl with the Blue Hat?  The memory/artifact transferred over to her?  I really want to ask her.  But the Composer said not to email her.

We thought there must have been some kind of code in The Compiler's writing, kinda like Zypes' codes the same time last winter (weird stuff always happens 8th week of Winter Quarter huh) but The Composer was very adamant that The Compiler hated codes.  HM OH WELL.  Then she had to leave and took the hat and all the papers with her.  Also the toy gun?  I don't know where that went tbh.  We immediately emailed The Compiler.  SUBJECT LINE: (nothing) BODY: u ok

I don't really trust The Composer anymore.  She would not tell us anything about who The Compiler is even though she's missing.  We all think that something bad is going to happen in the next few days but we just don't have much information about these artifacts and they could really be dangerous.  Despite this danger, The Compiler won't tell us much at all and we think that she would chose The Compiler over us if anything happened.  And that scares me because something does not seem right at all about The Compiler and the more information we know the better if things get dangerous soon.  Which I hope they don't. >__>

Anyway while we were all talking Killian comes in!  Late!  As usual! lolololol  It was nice seeing him again since he had kinda a bad quarter but he seemed pretty good.  He needs some excitement and some fun.  Which I think will happen starting Tuesday.

Afterwards we found a nerf dart on the door overhang in Cobb.  Gabi got it down!!! :D
