…did they just not have to get wisdom teeth removed or?

So, fun fact, in most places including irl Britain you're probably not gonna get your wisdom teeth out unless they're damaged/coming in at a super weird angle. Given that wizards can magically un-weird-angle their teeth (we also see that with Hermione!) they probably just do that rather than remove them! That does not make for as fun a scenario tho

Oh yes I’m aware that a good chunk of people don’t have to get wisdom teeth removed, the thought was mostly inspired by my own experience of having to get like 6 of my teeth pulled (4 wisdom teeth bc they’re growing inward, + 2 cause of overcrowding, which is funny bc I’m already missing a canine) and it got me wondering what the wizarding worlds answer to that would be :D

I assumed the answer would be some sort of magic, but considering the nerves and stuff that’s in the mouth I thought it might be a little more complicated than just a single spell for extraction.

My first thought of a solution was rather grim though with witches just letting them grow out and become painful to the point where their accidental magic removed it for them.

I actually don’t remember the un-weird angling of Hermione teeth, is it in the same scene where her teeth are enlarged and later shrunken?

It’s strange to me to think that they could just move every single tooth in a persons mouth to be perfectly placed if that were the case— just completely bypassing the need for braces. The sensation for that must be insanely strange and painful without potions.

OC x CANON — StarSpy

I finally got around to making art of these two!

The OC’s name is Altrus Lenoir. He’s the Astronomy professor at Hogwarts since ‘83–98 .

He, ironically enough, also happens to be a werewolf. At first, Severus is extremely wary and rude towards him due to this. However, after being badly injured during a full moon, reluctantly Severus softens his attitude towards him. They don’t become close until ‘89-ish, and continue to be a couple up until Severus becomes headmaster, in which he shuts Altrus out in order to lessen the damage of his new and harsh role.

In this, both of the two survive the 2nd Wizarding War and end up moving back to France (Altrus’ home country) and work out their own underlying issues.

Pureblood — Lenoirs are well known for their work in science fields. He’s considered an outcast from his relatives though.

His sexuality is gay
