I gotta say, their specific concerns seem very...them. Like of COURSE Set would be impatient and whatnot.

@theartofwingingit Set generally thinks that it’s better to push forward with things and deal with problems if they arise- “don’t borrow trouble” and so forth. HSA is more sensitive; a lot of times he’ll know what I’m feeling before I do, so if he thinks something could be a problem, it’s probably worth looking into.

agreed, it's easy to shout "THAT'S DISRESPECTFUL", but I don't see many discussions of what exactly being respectful /means/, and what /makes/ a thing disrespectful

if i end up writing this post, it’ll probably be less of a persuasive piece like my ‘The Case for SJ in Ma’at’ post, and more of an exploration of several different Kemetic views of respect and piety, both in antiquity and the modern day. 

Unlike my views on how ma’at should be done, I genuinely don’t think there’s a Right Way to do most aspects of religion, including piety, and I’d like the post to reflect that.
