Guerrilla Girls The Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous group of feminist activist artists that have been at the forefront of institutional critique of the art world since the 1980s. Wearing gorilla masks in public, they use facts, humor and outrageous visuals to expose gender and ethnic bias as well as corruption in politics, art, film, and pop culture.

The Basquiat Documentary
I found this documentary quite inspiring. I think Basquiat was a very interesting man and like he said in one of his interveiws, “most of my reviews have been reviews more about my personality more so than my work mostly.” he rally was an interesting person. I found that when he spoke in his interviews he was very slow and careful with his words, he spoke in a way that entranced you in whatever it was he said. At first I didn't enjoy his work but the more I learnt about him and how he worked the more I could visualize his headspace and movement on the canvas. by the end of the film is was quite in love with whatever I was shown, especially the collaboration he entertained with Andy Warhol. I found their relationship slightly weird but also beautiful and wacky.
I really like his artworks and the world that he created around himself. It is a shame he died so young but I feel like he gave so much of himself that there was perhaps nothing more to give.
