It's something I've had in the works for years, though originally the protagonist was a cishet white boy. She's now a demisexual homoromantic mixed race girl. Still tossing up a little about her gender identity as to whether she'll still be cis or if things are gonna be a little more fluid. *shug* I'm not writing too much original fiction while I've got my long-running fic going on, since the gear change in my head can get a little jarring when I switch between original fiction and fanfiction.
I'll get it written one day. I've completed several drafts of the novel with the original protagonist over the years, so I know I'm capable of finishing it. Whether I have the skill to do it well yet is another question entirely.
The entire story is a series of approximately five books and gets a little complex, and I also need to nail down how I want to handle the mythological aspects, since as a Classical Studies student I want to encompass the sheer fluidity of myth without making it too confusing for readers.
I'll probably get my werewolf novel with the trans girl biracial protagonist completed first tbh, since it's less structurally complex overall and will probably only have one or two sequels at this rate.
