Hiroshi Sugimoto (Japón) hace estas extrañas fotografías donde captura una película completa, en una sola toma (dejando el mínimo obturador durante una larga exposición), dejando solo un extraño halo de luz. Además, la ultima etapa de este proyecto -que comenzó desde los 70s- la ha estado haciendo con películas que proyecta dentro de teatros abandonados en ciudades de todo el mundo, como este en Boston (el Franklin Park Theater). Sobre el significado de este proyecto, al artista le gusta decir que “el fin no está cerca, sino que ya está sucediendo”. No se si son más fuertes las imágenes o su explicación. Me encanta... What happens when you capture a whole movie in a single frame? Photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto first posed the question in the 1970s, but the arresting after-effect still captivates him today.

In a new exhibition called Remains to Be Seen, Sugimoto returns to the idea as part of a poetic study of abandoned movie theaters. His technique – which has not changed since the 70s – is achieved by opening the camera’s aperture when a film begins and closing it when it ends. AMC THEATERS STOLE MONEY WITHOUT CONSENT?

guys, here I need help to solve a mystery: my mother just found that she missing 94 dollars on her credit card for registered or pay something to a site called amc theatres online on 9 August. 

now: us on 9 August we weren't home, we have no internet where we are on holiday and especially my mother has never entered into this kind of sites. on the internet I can't find any info, if any of you can help me unravel this stuff I'd be grateful.
