I don’t know how to explain this properly, but there is something oddly comforting to me about how undeniably Puerto Rican Lin-Manuel Miranda’s face is. He looks like people in my family and he’s also doing such amazing things in a field I would love to remain part of.

It just gives me lots of good creative feels.

Confession: It bothers me intensely every time I remember that the film version of Sweeney Todd has Sweeney in stripes and Mrs. Lovett in a nice, rich navy instead of the other way around during “By the Sea.”

HIJACKING BUT I DID THAT PLAY FOR A CLASS MAN IT WAS HARD

Do you remember the title of it? I can never remember the title of it, so people either look at me like I'm a weirdo when I bring it up, or they know exactly which play I'm talking about because they've done it or seen it. I want to find it so that I can try to convince one of my friends that we should do it for the campus talent show since it's fairly short.

It remains of my personal favoritres, because it requires a lot of trust in (and chemistry with) your partner to pull off and a lot of skill in memorization. If you've got that, you can easily have the greatest of fun with the bell-ringing--which can be useful when either partner unintentionally screws up a line!
