I have a soft spot for the Autry Musem because he was the first King of the Cowboys before Roy Rogers which I was often informed of by my mom because she has a little girl crush in him from her childhood. She liked Roy alright but it was Gene who was the king! He was a fellow Okie and he happened to be my ninth cousin according to my mom. That’s a lot of cousins removed but you have to hang on to what’s you’ve when you’re an Okie! I arrived very early on Saturday and then waited it out till the carpet opened. Eventually, the Kun Fu master appeared and it was game on. Jack Black didn’t disappoint and he was joined by his alter ego plushy Po for antics and shenanigans.
