hi beth! I'm tired and I hurt a loooottt, but I hurt less than last week so I'd say recovery is going okay.
The surgery has made my spine completely straight for the first time since I was a kid. This means that after the surgery/healing pain goes away, and my muscles learn to be balanced, I'll actually no longer have chronic pain. I'll have no problems with scoliosis for the rest of my life, so long as nothing tragic happens.
It's tough right now, and though the changes are so incremental that I don't even feel them, I am getting less and less pain every day. I'll be all better and won't have to make any more capslocked posts about it by the end of February. <3
