@thebabysittertm sent LAST RESORT : injured / sick and alone after an encounter with a threat or a run-in with a dangerous situation, sender finds themself at receiver’s door, coming to them because they have nowhere else to go.

she shouldn't have been having visitors. she wasn't expecting anyone and she didn't live here; moby was lucky her last meal had enough in cash in his measly wallet to afford her one night's stay in the cheapest motel on probably the rainiest day of the year so far. still, she answered when there was a knock on the door and realized growing closer the scent emanating from the other side was familiar. the face when she opened the door was... not.

moby can smell the blood on him as surely as she can identify she's met this man before, but it takes a moment to pinpoint from when and where. there had been a wolf she met in the local woods a few times. she hardly ever expected he would track her down, but luckily their encounters had only ever been friendly.

"come in," she invites, urging him inside. once the door was closed, she hurried to the linen closet for fresh towels. "somehow, i'm not surprised you're just a pup." he looked only a few years younger than she was, but it was young enough for a werewolf. plus, he always smelled new when she met him in the forest. turned, not born. "but i didn't expect you to be so pretty. how badly are you hurt, sweet thing? should i be expecting more visitors?" should she be expecting to fight anybody off?

It was evident from lack of poise and tact, Billy hadn't been doing this for too long. He had woken up with a faint memory of his attack and a newfound hunger he didn't fully know what to do with. So he did the thing he knew best which was ultimately, indulge every wish and desire he had no matter the consequences. Still far too eager but considerably more in control of himself than he had been—he was slowly but surely figurin' shit out on his own.

(Actually who had thought it would be a good idea to turn someone like Billy Hargrove into a vampire? Already so temperamental, greedy, self-serving, and completely unhinged at times... it was a disaster waiting to happen.)

And the bloodlust was a pull he could so easily lean into. Reaching and pulling out to every whim he wished to yield to. It's how he ends up in the predicament he was in trying to coax the other into being his meal for the evening. However, there is something that isn't quite right.

Billy's brow scrunches slightly in confusion. The compulsion that worked on most humans slid right off and did nothing to bring the other to Billy's mercy. Bright blue eyes stare in sheer annoyance and defiance 'cause how the fuck hadn't it worked—anyone else would have been half in Billy's lap already offering over their neck for his dinner. "Tsk," He scoffs after a second. "What the fuck." It's a low hiss, something too threatening 'cause despite everything he was trying to keep his death toll as low as possible. "Don't tell me I am gonna have to wine and dine you before I can take a bite."

He's leaning forward, an unconscious habit - probably unwise when he has admitted wanting to eat the other. It could be worse though. It's merely Billy invading the other's space 'cause it was what he did. Crossing boundaries, giving no fucks about how aggressive it might come off. A fangy snarl, low but more peeved than angry. The irritation pained so easily across his hardened, pretty face. A indignant huff escapes his lips. "What magic is this, asshole?"

Bee, my darling, I know I’ve said this to you but it’s important that you know how incredible you are. What you’re going through is intense and it destroys your mental health and I’ve been in your shoes. Still am, some days. You have all my love and heart in getting through it and don’t forget that you’re a great writer who puts thought and emotion into your characters, but you’re also a great friend who honestly gives a little too much. Remember what I said about oxygen masks and that you’re not alone, you have a support system. Keep your head up, take breaks when you need to and as cliché as it sounds, time does eventually heal. You just gotta stop picking at the wound long enough for it to do its thing and we’re all here to help. <3

I waited to answer this, because -- well first I couldn't see through the tears, but I was also too speechless, I still am. This is the sweetest thing , and I don't know what I did to deserve you. thin fingers clutched around the VHS cases , each film promising to be more gruesome than the other. THE FLY , ALIEN , AND CHOPPING MALL. as she walked up to the counter , the blonde allowed them to fall forward as she smiled up at @thebabysittertm.

" i'm stoked you had all of these in stock. " she told him , tapping her fingernails against the black and green case. " i've been looking for this for weeks , must be popular. "

Lizzie knew a lot about Steve , more from rumors and gossip than anything he'd ever said to her directly. of course they'd met several times , they had a few mutual friends , but he was more clean rich jock king of the school and she was more homemade tattoos and dirty fingernails. their paths wouldn't naturally cross if not for their shared trauma , their memories of friends left in the other world , THE UPSIDE DOWN.

HE SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN THERE. hell, running into the mall while it was getting ready to close was a bad idea all the way around. way too easy for the cops to catch him without enough people around to lose them in. so he did the next best thing, jumping over the counter of the ice cream shop and into the backroom. the blonde didnt give the other boy much time to react, grabbing his sailor shirt with a grin and pulling him into the storage closet, closing the door behind them.

it was too small for the two boys and all the cleaning supplies, their bodies almost pressed together as they faced each other. caed put a hand over @thebabysittertm mouth, the darkness only broken up by the cracks around the doorway letting light bleed through. harrington, thats what his name was. they didnt run in the same circles, trailer trash troubled kid and the popular prom king— but he knew The Hair.

" calm down, sailor, not gonna take advantage of you. just hiding from the pigs, " he whispered with a mischievous smile. " unless you want to be ravaged, ive gotten great reviews. "

Letting out a bemused sigh, Eddie assumes that Steve is approaching him with the intent to fish for an apology or explanation - as to why he smooched Billy’s cheek. He doesn’t have a sufficient answer aside from ‘alcohol’, so to avoid the question - he figures the best course of action would be to even things out. He means to throw an arm around Steve’s shoulder - instead he gets him in a pseudo headlock. Ruffling his hair, Eddie caps off the noogie with a kiss to the head. “Merry Christmas, Harrington!”
