Homemade Biscuits

Yesterday morning I made completely from scratch buttermilk biscuits. Sky needed buttermilk for a recipe on Sunday and the left over milk needed to be used so I used it. The biscuits turned out great. The gravy I made with the buttermilk not so much. It looked great but tasted horrible. My week in art….

two paintings pretty much the same, one is done the other I’m still working on

another one, dip pen and ink I love love love

another one on the easel drawn and ready for color

an experiment with thread sketching and then painted with wax, oil pastels and ink with alcohol

another hippie bus and camper beach scene since I’m still cosmic surfing

and I guess that’s it up to this point.

My art goals for the next week (this Thursday to next Thursday)…

list more art on etsy

make more products for sale on Zazzle

find someone who licenses art for yoga mats

work on a new zine

thread my bead loom

order sleeves for prints

Seems like a respectable little to do list but we’ll have to wait to see how I actually do with it.

Ashtanga at sunrise. I love it. And just practiced it followed by a 30 minute practice just for the neck and shoulders since so many Chaturanga Dandasanas can tighten the neck and shoulders and I did over 36 sun salutations in a row the other day just to see if I could. I could.

The Purge Continues, Meet Leo, Give Me Peace

The Purge Continues, Meet Leo, Give Me Peace

The purge continued yesterday. I purged the deep freeze and the freezer. Made a great stir fry from the veggies I found buried in the back. Delicious!

We purged the living room too. Getting rid of magazines and books we’ll be donating to the library.

I even purged a bit more from my art studio.

I do believe I am becoming a minimalist…yeah, probably not.
