There are no scenes in TLJ with just the droids. Like, artoo and threepio in the desert, saving the trio in the trash compactor, even bb8 on his own. The droids are just props.

I think arguably BB-8 has some stuff on his own?  Though it’s more implied than shown, like when he’s shooting coins at people in the prison -- like, he clearly gets stuff done, we just don’t see most of it, which is a shame.  But Artoo and Threepio are just...props.  And especially coming out of TCW and the PT, where they have so much personality, it’s honestly horrifying.  (Even the ST ancillaries for C-3PO, thinking about his standalone and his appearance in the Poe Dameron comics -- like, that’s a droid that Can Get Shit Done.)

he super does!!!! i hate him and i hate that all the rest of the party and the players just go along with it!! i hate that when i first started feeling uncomfortable people told me he gets better when in fact i just learned that his constant harassment pays off and he Gets The Girl at the end and i actually feel physically sick about it!!!

Exactly, like I don’t have any mental illnesses myself, but I relate a lot to Amy’s not wanting to grow up, to her wanting to run away from all of her responsibilities just because she can, because I too feel like a child inside an adult’s body, so much of the time. 

And I’ve seen a lot of people like you say how Amy is really important to them because of her struggles in the area of mental illness, even if it’s a more subtle aspect of her character, so yeah, it’s shitty for people to talk about her like that.
