7. Romantic Kiss.

Their hands were intertwined as they walked down the street together. Cass had an iced tea in hand and Steph was sipping on  an iced coffee. It was a hot day in Gotham, but they kept their hands linked together. The AC in Steph’s house was broken and they were on their way to a movie to escape the heat. Their hands were sweaty, but they didn’t let go.

"I love you," Steph blurted out to the other girl. They hadn’t said it yet out loud, The blonde was sure they both knew that the other did and had the same feelings, but they just hadn’t said it yet. But Steph had just stepped over that line. 

Cass smiled that her, “Love you too,” Steph grinned and Cass tugged on her hand to pull her close. 

Their mouths pressed together and Cass wrapped her arm around her waist. Steph draped her arm around Cass’ shoulder as they kissed. It was hot and muggy out. Steph could feel sweat running down her back, Cass’ hair was sticking to her forehead. 

And neither of them really cared about it.

Raven's eyes widened when she saw Cass's lying on the cold ground outside of an abandon building, she immediately rushed to her side and knelt down next to her when she saw a puddle of blood was formed around her body. She checked for her injuries and winces when she saw that she has various cuts and bruises on her body. The biggest one was on her stomach.

Judging by the breathing and her pale face, she held Cass's hand tightly. "I... am sorry, my friend, I wish I can save you but even my powers are beyond from the help now." She said to her, using bits of her powers to help her ease the pain before her passing.

Opening one eye open from under her blanket, she grumbled tiredly for a moment before she sat up with a yawn and stretched her arms before looking around her room for a moment before she pointed at the corner that was piled with clothes. "Over there."
