@the-bctman | STARTER CALL!
What Tim had abundance of was wit and humor, what he lacked was more physical training. Truth be told, he personally thought he was an ‘okay’ fighter. Compared to the former Robins, Dick (the acrobat) and Jason (the kid from the streets), Tim had to train ten times harder to get used as good as fighting as they were. There was no way he was going to be the weakest link in the Robin legacy. Not only Robin, but didn’t want to make Batman look like a fool, and make himself look like a tool. He wanted to make his family proud.
Tim blocked Bruce’s frontal attack with his bo staff, focusing on the rest of the Dark Knight’s attacks as well. Bruce was so quick, Tim had to focus extra to avoid being bulldozed over. He brought down his staff to stop another attack; a kick that time. Then upwards, before using the other as a trampoline to flip away, bo staff tucking into him.
Hm.... frontal attacks never worked on Bruce, so there had to be another way. Tim twirled his bo staff around his wrist, at his side, as he searched for an opening. Nothing, as expected. It still didn’t keep him from grinning.
“I’m going to win today, Bruce.”
