I’m so bad at simply resting. I have learned that for me, balance looks like reoccurring cycles of diving deep into my career for a few weeks, followed by a couple weeks of rest and recovery (time to focus on everything else in life that excites me). I used to wonder why I’d work full force on something with extreme excitement and motivation and then get burned out and just have to stop completely. I was trying to skip the deep rest and recovery cycle, but that’s the most important part! #thebestideas come to me when I’m in a state of #restandrecovery I am currently in my rest and recovery cycle and find it very difficult to do just that. There is just too much #fireforlife that simply won’t quit. Here’s to the cycles of living and someday getting them all figured out! 🥂 . #Riverstonepottery @riverstonepottery @hopefregerio (at Lake Wylie, South Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwmGDcqAnBS/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=pe0gyd0zp5av
