It was late evening, some minor feast the king was hosting, of course Tywin and his wife were in attendance, the very young twins as well, but the children had been made ready for bed after dinner. Joanna retired first, to put the children to bed. It was good to have his family in King's Landing. He bid the king goodnight, made his way past the king's children, and put his hand on a young woman's shoulder.
"Faith." he gave a nod down at her. Not long ago had he seen her kiss his wife. She had a way with people. Enough to earn her a place at dinner with the higher lords Quite a bold young woman, she was. Her attentions to Joanna had merited a far better reaction from the Hand of the king than certain other people's. It had earned her being bid by him to go kiss his wife, and now, his hand on her shoulder, beckoning her to come with him.
"It was a long evening, was it not?" he asked as they made their way up the tower stairs. "I believe my lady wife should be allowed some relief after that, would you not agree, Faith?" he asked, looking over his shoulder with a raised eyebrow, pausing only a moment before striding to his bedroom. "Perhaps you could assist me in helping her." it was not a question, but rather giving his blessing to an attraction that the two women clearly had to each other.
