Qi’ra blushed at the message from Lando, it was certainly not something she was told. The message reminded her just how sweet he was, and certainly always one to make sure she was alright. He was the most caring of any lover she had ever had, and even just a quick message reminded her of their time together.
Lando, you sure know how to make someone blush. I have not been told that, and I thank you for thinking that of me. You always brighten my day when I hear from you. I hope to see you again soon, I’ll grace you with my smiles and you can grace me with your presence. I have a mission that might take me by you soon, might I request to see you?

He’s not really the type to blush-- but if he had been, he would have. The words leaving a sort of pleasant embarrassment in him, one that he isn’t particularly accustomed to. He wouldn’t bother to say that his heart wasn’t broken for Calrissian, that he could replace him if he needed to. Perhaps he can replace him, but why should he want to?
A flick of his fingers to track the call, hoping he could find where Calrissian was staying-- so that he might order a bottle of wine to the room for him. And perhaps flowers, if they could get the right ones. He might not be used to this sort of sentimentality, but he understood lavishing presents on someone at least. Oh, and perhaps he could get the concierge to include a note.
“Call me when you get in.”
Yes, alright, perhaps he would miss him.

The muted jazz from the party in the other room had followed them, but they were otherwise alone. Vos’ hands had caught Calrissian by the hips, pulling him into a gentle sway of a dance, a sleepy sort of comfortableness. These parties were all very good fun, but they were very much work to him. And a stolen moment of privacy was a welcome relief.
He used a strong, but careful, grip to pull Calrissian closer, so that their bodies touched, still moving to the slow pace of the music. “I’m glad you made it after all.” He spoke in a low tone, matching the murmur of chatter outside. His nose brushed against Calrissian’s cheek, and he smiled.
“Don’t leave me again,” the smile wrapped into his tone, as their lips met. One kiss, gentle, as if to ask permission, and then another, as soft, wet lips covered Calrissian’s, and he lost the beat of the song in the search of his mouth.

THAT’S WEIRD. You should totally believe that Qi’ra is all fine and dandy and that she cares about nothing so why would hurting people make her sad? She’s totally happy. YEP. That’s the word I am going with. Happy with no heartache whatsoever.
