He’s not really the type to blush-- but if he had been, he would have. The words leaving a sort of pleasant embarrassment in him, one that he isn’t particularly accustomed to. He wouldn’t bother to say that his heart wasn’t broken for Calrissian, that he could replace him if he needed to. Perhaps he can replace him, but why should he want to? 

A flick of his fingers to track the call, hoping he could find where Calrissian was staying-- so that he might order a bottle of wine to the room for him. And perhaps flowers, if they could get the right ones. He might not be used to this sort of sentimentality, but he understood lavishing presents on someone at least. Oh, and perhaps he could get the concierge to include a note. 

“Call me when you get in.”

Yes, alright, perhaps he would miss him.

How does Dryden feel about his appearance?

He sees no reason not to be confident about it. He is aware that he is not really traditionally handsome-- that by human standards, the striations along his face (well, and elsewhere) might be seen as somewhat grotesque. But he doesn’t think that human ideals of classical attractiveness particularly matter. He’s never had any problem-- perhaps because he’s entitled and scary-- and he takes that to mean that he has a certain appeal. 

In any case, he’s tall, he’s got a good nose shape, pretty good cheekbones, and he keeps fairly physically fit. He dresses well, although he wouldn’t call himself vain. So as far as he’s concerned, he’s extremely attractive. 

And if he’s made modifications-- well, they were extremely expensive and he would consider them worth the ticket.
