This is the view from one of my bedroom windows. It's lovely and I'm ultra thankful for this space. Geese, ducks, frogs, weeping willows, sometimes we see cardinals, and even hummingbirds! I was trying to help my 11 year old understand why I wanted to do a #charitywater fundraiser. I said imagine if we had no running water; that means no sinks, no baths, no washing machine, no toilets! And instead we just went out back to the pond and that's the water we used to drink, cook, wash our clothes and wash ourselves with, the same water the ducks and frogs are in right now - we will help people who do something similar and this will be better for their health and well being.
