I don't understand the obsession with not aging.

Aging is a privilege, a gift. Not everyone gets to be 80 on their death bed surrounded by the family they created.

Waking up another day, celebrating another year should bring happiness, so why are you trying to erase its signs from your body? Why shouldn't others see the years you've lived, the laughs you've had, the pain you've suffered, on your face?

Why hide the gift you received?
