What's Turning my Pedals???? - March
I’ve decided to start a new series of monthly posts, that won’t be totally all about cycling, but about what’s happening in my world, things I’ve been listening to, eating, watching, reading and obviously where I’ve been riding.
My current favourite venue in Leeds is the Northern Monk Refectory, it is super cool! There food is really tasty and I particularly love that the menu is listed as vegan unless otherwise stated, turns the norm upside down! Check them out here: http://www.northernmonkbrewco.com/the-refectory
Ghostpoet has a new album out this month and it is brilliant! He’s in Leeds, as well as venues nationwide next month, so check him out if you like his style!
This bit is actually cycling related! The other thing that I have got quite into of late is podcasts. Over winter I’ve been getting more buses rather than cycling and they are a great chance to catch up on an interesting podcast. One cycling related one is ‘The Bike Show’ hosted by Jack Thurston, and it covers all kinds of interesting ground. You can download it on a podcast app or check out the website here http://thebikeshow.net/
Finally, some of you may know, if you know me in real life, that I’m off to London to do an internship for 3 months, so if anyone has some tips for cycling or just general cool places to hang out, let me know!
Lovely Lunch with Jack Thurston + family. Bikeshow waff aplenty

If you can't wait till 7pm for your ITV Tour de France fix, here is Ned being interviewed about all things TdF by lovely and talented Jack Thurston from @thebikeshow ! Very good!
If you're part of the INBFC's small-but-enthusiastic Dr Hutch subcaucus, you'll also like Jack's very interesting interview with Michael about the Hour record (from 2006).
More than anything else, ride your bikes, and don't forget, we do this because we enjoy it.
