Welcome to Instagram, The Bin Twins!!
After brainstorming with Stephen and the rest of my group in the tutorial this week I realised the reason I was getting confused with this project is because what I thought was my character, was actually my first rabbit-hole. I needed to make my characters a cartoon sketch, then by transforming the bins in the UC refectory to look like them I would hopefully inspire users to go online and find out more about my characters. This is my first rabbit-hole into my online story world.
I created my characters by first sketching them by hand in pencil, then scanning them and adjusting the threshold in Photoshop. I was then able to use the paintbrush tool to achieve the splash of cartoon colour that I was looking for.
