Sonic mushed his face in the window fogging it with his breath. Shadow was always so serious and sometimes boring- Sonic sometimes couldn’t help himself but to make it a competition with him or to try and help him have some kind of fun, being all serious and grumpy all that time sure wasn’t to do too much good; well at least Sonic cared about his friends
. He stepped back when Shadow opened the door, grinning at the other. Maybe there was a hint of mischief in the blue hedgehog’s face. His arms behind his back.
"You don’t sound very busy, sounds to me like someone’s making excuses." He shrugged with his same mischievous grin. And of course- predictable as ever, Sonic threw a snowball at Shadow.
"Ehehehe! Oops I think my hand slipped."
It was obvious that Sonic was up to something. Shadow clenched his fists, but before he could even respond-
Splat
The snowball connected with the black hedgehog's face, and he was left stood in the doorway with freezing white slush dripping down his face.
To say he was peeved would have been an understatement. But, oh, if Sonic wanted a fight, Shadow was certainly going to give him a run for his rings. He was every bit as competitive as his rival.
"You will regret that, blue hedgehog."
Without a second's hesitation, Shadow scooped up his own ball of snow and in a flash of Chaos Control, he teleported behind the blue hedgehog and swiftly tossed it.
