Even Sirens need help closed

Amara was getting used to controlling all three of her powers. She wouldn’t admit it but sometimes channeling all three in a battle can sometimes take a lot from her. Specially her phasegrasp ability, she knew that Maya had a similar power and was wondering if she could help a Siren out. She wasn’t going to do it publicly tho, she had a reputation to uphold.

She waited for the perfect opportune moment to ask her about this. A time where Ava could be distracted for a while before she asked Maya about her concern. So in a little bit of mischief she told Ava that Marcus had some pretty neat stuff to ‘borrow’ and knew that would keep the small thief busy for a bit.

Entering Maya’s room she noticed that she caught her in the middle of meditation and by the looks of her floating in a bubble of power she knew she was too concentrated and made the tiger feel bad for interrupting.

“Excuse me Maya? I was wondering if you could help me with something”

“Maya.” Gaige whispered, gently shaking the frame of the siren’s bed, early one morning. “Maya.” she repeated, poking at her shoulder.  “Maya, Maya, Maya. Ya gotta get up. Sal and Krieg are about to have a raw egg eating contest. They’re gonna start without us!”

How many muses do you have and which do you relate to most? Why?

lol okay so I actually only have one muse, it being this idiot~~

I’m actually super new to the tumblr rp community in general. I’d always liked borderlands, because my brother had kind of gotten me into the story, but I wasn’t incredibly knowledgeable about it. He got me to play tftbl after it came out though, and I realized that I liked the whole universe more than I originally thought. Since he’s a member of the borderlands rp community here, he convinced me to get involved too, since I like writing so much. I’m still trying to play through the games with him and catch up on the full story though, so I decided it would be best to stick with a character from tales, and despite being afraid since there seemed to be so many already (and good ones at that), I just sort of felt like Rhys was a good fit for me.

I really do relate to Rhys in a lot of ways. Despite being intelligent, he makes a fool of himself often, which i can relate to a LOT (not that I’m calling myself a genius or anything, but the same principle holds true), and his puns are beautiful, for puns are my lifeblood and all I breathe/consume (just ask my brother). I like to think I’m not as much of an asshole as he can be at times, despite that being another part of his character that appeals to me. I like the struggle he has between his morals and his tendencies. I’m not so sure that’s the right word for it necessarily, but I love that he’s generally a good person, despite having a certain touch of selfishness/inelegance that can lead him down a bad trail, if not checked every so often.

Shifting in nervousnes, he was deciding whether or not if he should tell the siren the entire truth.

“There’s a virus. Yeah, uh. Virus. I can’t get rid of him- I mean ‘it’. Yeah. I tried to clean bugs and all but. Um. It’s kinda stuck there, eating me away. Yep.”

The sight of a familiar face-- or a familiar head of hair, more accurately-- was jarring. It’d been over a year since she’d seen her, having disappeared further into the vault when the rest of the hunters left.
