Thank God for having known my Grandma Sleaner Pough Mitchell Washington, she gave me my first introduction to acting. Everyone knew that when your Grandma stories come on you get quite and you sit down somewhere. She would yell: Grandma: “ Neil, Teddy, Kane, and Libby sat y’all asses down somewhere now because my stories coming on.” And we did just that! We knew that we would be sitting there from the time The Young and the Restless come on and until Guiding Light go off which is basically all day!😩🤷🏾♀️😂 I was my Grandmother only granddaughter for 13 years before my cousin came so with having all brothers I spent most of my time with my Grandma. I miss her and she taught me sooooo much! She would say: ”Libby, keep God first because you can’t do nothing without Him and Grandma going to make sure you get a drivers license because I ain’t never had one and a woman should know how to drive! A man can control you when they gotta drive you everywhere.” “Libby, I want you get a good education cause education is important! Grandma only got a 3rd grade education because I had to go help my Pa in the cotton fields. It was sad day in Johnston for me when I quit school. I don’t want that for you.” “Libby, don’t trust NO man because they ain’t no good but if you just decide you want one because you will, get you somebody that love God because they might think before they hurt you because ain’t nobody perfect! And make sure they ass can protect you and provide for you. Don’t nobody want no broke ass man.” “Grandma want you to be somebody and you will, you hear Libby..... Out all the soap operas that came on The Bold and the Beautiful was her favorite. She hated Brook and she loved Eric! I pray I continue to make my Grandma proud and Lord knows I thank her sooo much for every jewel she gave me.🙌🏾🙏🏾😍😘 #grandmababy #nicetohaveknownyou #acting #actress #theboldandbeautiful #B&B #thankful #blessed https://www.instagram.com/p/BzLuQ50l7xo/?igshid=1okslr6nlwvyw
