1. Why did you start riding?
My mom rode and she had a bunch of model horses and i guess that got me into it cause i started asking to ride at 2.

4. Scariest riding experience?
Either Farley bolting and me having to turn him and bail off cause I couldn't stop him or when we were running on the trails and he tripped over himself and fell on me.

How so many people think they're qualified to judge when they literally know 0 about the horse or rider and aren't a trainer.

They're individuals and you cannot base horses' personalities as a whole off of one horse you worked with and you cannot train them all exactly the same.

Riding different horses and learning how to ride completely different to cater to different horses

I want to be more adjustable, not look down as much and just overall fix my eq and get better at seeing distances from far away

under saddle: rearing or bolting and on the ground/in the stall: being hard to catch or cribbing

how rude people are when passing judgment and the times they choose to pass judgment, also the snotty nature towards beginning riders or people with equitation imperfections or just faults that are part of the learning process.

I'm not really riding or training any of my own horses right now but previously it was just going long and low and being consistently paced to fences

16.3h, daintier build, black, thoroughbred x trakehner or anglo arabian with a snip and socks.

hoof flex, mtg, brushes, hoof pick, elastics, sunscreen, gloves, wound stuff

36. Worst fall you've ever had?
Farley tripped while running on a trail and skidded sideways, on my knee and i cracked my knee cap and now have some lovely bone chips.

Two years ago I fell off Farley when riding brideless and he refused a jump.

of course, everyone does.
42. Are there any styles/ trends/ etc that you don't like in the horse world?
I don't like GPA first lady helmets, I hate those sun visors on helmets but they do serve a purpose and i'd get one if i end up riding a lot in the summer but i think they look really silly. not a huge fan of monogrammed helmets.
43. Any training methods that you completely disagree with?
obviously rollkur, jumping in draw reins, using draw reins with curb bits
44. What is your grooming routine?
depends on how dirty the horse is
45. Thoughts on riding without a helmet?
don't let kids do it. if you're old enough to make the decision, whatever but don't be dim to the risk you're taking and don't be stupid and try to make it out to be less dangerous than it is.

depends on the situation. a lot of people use spurs and crops far too readily imo.

usually 5x a week or more but i'm not riding there right now so i just go to see dallas in the field around that much.

generally saddle. depends on the time of year and the horse.
57. Thoughts on liberty?
lots of people who claim to do liberty actually aren't. liberty isn't making a bed between your horse's legs and sleeping in it or resting your horse's hooves on your body.
