Here’s a recap of some of the best memories I made in 2017. Some things this year were rough, but others were amazing, and in the words of the Doctor, “the good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things, and make them unimportant.” This year I: 1) Finally got the tattoos I’ve been wanting for years - my first! 2) Met two of my celebrity idols, Catherine Tate and David Tennant, at my first out-of-state convention. 3) Met one of my all-time favorite bands, Garbage, and got them to sign their new book and a CD I’ve cherished since I was 13. 4) Started writing for The Rotoscopers animation website! 5) Met Catherine Tate a SECOND time at Wizard World Chicago. 6) Was a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s weddings. I fully acknowledge that these are not things that happen every year, and some of them are bucket list-worthy!
