First Week

My internship officially started today! We had orientation week last week and received our first round of promotion tools for one of our campaigns. For this cycle we have five campaigns we are working on. Jessica Jung, DAWN, and The Brinks, which will be an online campaigns. Rebelution which will be an online and a lifestyle account campaign, and Jocelyn Alice which will be a viral video campaign. We received posters and stickers to hand out for our Rebelution lifestyle campaign which is awesome because The Three River Arts Festival is happening at Point State Park right now. Rebelution is a grass roots reggae band so the arts festival is a great place to hit that target market. We have a conference call today and received project notes for all of the above artists so stay posted for some great new music. I will be using this blog to not only talk about what I’m learning at my internship, but also use it to help promote the awesome artists that we are assigned!
