“Tell me what you’ve got,” Jimin demanded as he leaned forward in his seat. The visuals he had on the agent went out and he only has the coms to rely on.
“The lights are going haywire like some funhouse shit,” the agent muttered as she made her way into the holding area. She strained her ears and picked up the pace, heels clicking loudly against the concrete as she made a beeline for a single door at the end of the hallway.
Jimin sighed as he rubbed his temples, breathing deeply through his nose, out through his mouth. Could she be any more vague?
“Who...who are you?” a faint voice in the background whimpered.
“A hostage?” Jimin asked as he strained to hear the coms. “Come on, talk to me damn it!”
The woman sighed as she stepped away from the figure. “Kumiho, you might wanna get down here – victim’s jumpy and I don’t think he wants me to calm him down.”
Jimin blew out a huge breath of air, picking up his sidearm and loading it as he rose from his seat. His back pressed against the wall of the jet and he checked for clearance before exiting and following the agent’s path before her visuals cut out.
He rolled his shoulders as he raced down the hall, gritting his teeth as he kept the standard sidearm raised. He rounded the corner and saw the agent standing a few feet away from the victim’s cell door. She nodded at the room and Jimin slowly approached it, slightly lowering his sidearm in case there were traps.
The flickering lights made it difficult to see the victim’s face but as Jimin stepped into the room, the lights brightened for a moment.
“Wha – Tyler?”
