Curious eyes followed her as a bustle of servants hurried about, politely moving around the new guest. Only a small girl stopped briefly, her smile large. She seemed out of place in the arid temple with more modern clothing than the rest. She gave the guest a bow.
"You're looking for our Goddess?" She cheerfully asked.
"She's super busy and told me to greet anyone. So..." The child waved happily. "Hello and welcome!" Her loud voice caught the attention of another elder woman, her face worn with wrinkles, but her eyes were sharp with the vigor of a mother in her 20s.
"Oh my." She patted the little girl's head. "May I ask who seeks her audience?"
"Hello hello~" Chiasa cooed, crocuhed down to meet the child closer to face height. "Thank ya kindly!~"
Ears perking up, she raised back to full height, giving a small bow to the elder woman. "Good Afternoon. I'm Chiasa..no-gami. Im a minor god...I think." Probably the best way to put it.
"I've been struggling with stuff about godhood for a while, and a Oni named Olgan told me stories about Bast-sama as her godmother, and I thought that maybe if I could talk ta her some, I could get a better idea of what godhood is about..
This a lovely temple." Much bigger and livelier than the small shrine the Kami had to build for herself.
