Y/N ran as fast as she could, Rafe's footsteps echoing behind her. She knew she wasn't going to make it; he was too fast and too determined to catch her.
She was breathless and her legs were starting to ache as she turned the corner of the street, but Rafe’s was only a few feet behind her. She could feel him getting closer and closer, and panic set in.
As she looked around frantically for a way to escape, she saw an open door of a nearby building and ran inside, hoping to lose Rafe’s in the labyrinth of hallways.
But as she ran deeper into the building, she realized too late that she had made a mistake. The door slammed shut behind her, and she found herself trapped in a small, windowless room.
Rafe’s footsteps echoed through the hallways, growing louder and louder until she heard him pounding on the door of the room where she was trapped.
Y/N's heart was pounding in her chest as she looked around the room for something to defend herself with. She found a broom leaning against the wall and picked it up, ready to use it as a makeshift weapon if necessary.
The door burst open, and Rafe charged into the room. Y/N stood her ground, brandishing the broom as she tried to keep him at bay.
But he was too strong, and he easily disarmed her, knocking the broom out of her hands. Y/N backed away, trying to put as much distance as possible between herself and Rafe.
But it was no use. He grabbed her by the arm, pulling her towards him. Y/N struggled, but he was too strong, and she couldn't break free.
Tears streamed down her face as he held her tight, and she knew that she was in for a long and difficult battle to escape his grasp.
Y/N struggled against Rafe's grip, her heart racing with fear as she tried to break free. “Please let me go," she pleaded, tears streaming down her face. "I don't want to be with you anymore. We're over."
But Rafe only tightened his grip, his face twisted with anger. "You can't leave me, Y/N," he growled. "I love you, and I'll do anything to keep you with me."
Y/N's fear turned to anger as she heard his words. "That's not love, Rafe," she spat. "Love is about respect and trust, and you've destroyed both of those things."
Rafe sneered at her. "You don't know what love is, Y/N," he said, his voice dripping with venom. "You're just a stupid girl who doesn't know how good she has it with me."
Y/N's anger turned to fury at his words. "You have no right to talk to me like that," she hissed. "You've hurt me too many times, and I won't let you do it anymore."
But Rafe only laughed, his grip on her arm tightening. "You're not going anywhere, Y/N," he said. "You're mine, and I'll never let you go."
Y/N knew that she needed to act fast if she was going to get away from Rafe. With a burst of adrenaline, she kicked him hard in the knee, causing him to stumble backwards.
As Rafe stumbled, Y/N ran towards the door, hoping to make her escape. But Rafe recovered quickly, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her back towards him.
"Get back here, you little bitch!" he shouted, his rage boiling over.
Y/N fought back with all her might, biting and scratching at Rafe's arms as he dragged her towards the door. But she knew that she needed something more if she was going to get away.
As she looked around the room frantically, her eyes fell on a heavy vase sitting on a nearby table. With a burst of adrenaline, she lunged for the vase and swung it at Rafe's head.
The vase shattered on impact, and Rafe stumbled backwards, clutching his head in pain. Y/N's heart was pounding as she sprinted down the street, her ex-boyfriend Rafe hot on her heels. She knew that she couldn't outrun him forever, but she also knew that she had one last trick up her sleeve.
As Y/N approached a fork in the road, she quickly ducked behind a building and hid behind a dumpster. She watched as Rafe ran past her, not noticing her disappearance.
Y/N quickly pulled out her phone and called her sister, Emily. "Emily, you have to help me," she said, gasping for breath. "Rafe is chasing me, and I need you to distract him."
Emily quickly understood the situation and agreed to help. Y/N told her to put on a hoodie and run towards Rafe, pretending to be Y/N. Emily was hesitant at first, but Y/N convinced her that it was the only way to buy her some time.
Y/N watched from her hiding spot as Emily ran towards Rafe, yelling out her name. Rafe turned and began chasing Emily, thinking that she was Y/N.
As Rafe chased Emily down the street, Y/N quickly made her way to Rafe's car, which was parked nearby. She knew that this was her only chance to get away.
Y/N got into the driver's seat and started the engine, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She drove away as quickly as she could, leaving Rafe and Emily behind. Y/N's heart sank as she watched Rafe quickly realize that Emily wasn't her. She knew that she had to act fast if she wanted to get away.
Y/N quickly called her dad and explained the situation to him. Without hesitation, he agreed to help.
Within minutes, Y/N's dad arrived in his car, and she quickly jumped in. "Follow me," she instructed him, pointing in the direction that Rafe had gone.
Y/N's dad didn't ask any questions, and he quickly took off after Rafe. Y/N's heart was pounding as she watched the chase unfold behind her, praying that her dad would be able to keep up with Rafe's car.
Rafe seemed to be gaining on them, and Y/N knew that they needed to do something to slow him down. She quickly thought back to her high school days when she used to race cars with her friends.
Y/N's dad looked over at her, sensing her determination. "What's the plan?" he asked.
"We're going to try and outrun him," Y/N replied, her voice steady.
Y/N's dad nodded, and he pushed the pedal to the floor, the car roaring to life. They quickly gained speed, and soon they were neck and neck with Rafe's car.
Y/N could see the shock on Rafe's face as he realized that he was being outpaced. She grinned triumphantly, knowing that they had him beat.
As they approached a sharp turn in the road, Y/N's dad slammed on the brakes, causing Rafe to overshoot the turn and crash his car into a ditch.
Y/N's dad quickly pulled over and called the police, You tell the officers on duty what's happened, and they quickly take action. They send out a team to apprehend Rafe, but just as they're about to catch him, they're stopped in their tracks by none other than Ward Cameron
Y/n panics knowing that the powerful kook is able to hold off the police officers, giving Rafe enough time to escape. You realize that you're still not safe, and that you need to be even more careful from now on.
You thank the officers for their help and leave the police station, keeping a low profile as you make your way home. You know that Rafe will stop at nothing to find you, and that you need to stay one step ahead of him if you want to stay alive.
