I want to make art. But I’m too fucking tired to make art. *yawn* I think sleep now and art tomorrow.
A few days ago I mentioned that I had an idea for a happy, or at least hopeful, Rumbelle gifset. Yeah. Instead I made angst. Sorry about that. :)
The happier set is still in my head but I’ll not be making it before I go on vacation. (And I’ll obviously not be making graphics on vacation. I have dolphins to see and pools to lounge in.) If they are still all unhappy on the show when I get back, I’ll put it at the top of my list, because after two more weeks of unhappy Rumbelle on screen I think we’ll need some happy gifsets.
The only graphics I’ll be doing today or tomorrow is to put the finishing touches on my Tennant birthday gifset. I haven’t missing making a celebratory post for his birthday in years and I’m not missing this year! (Robert Carlyle’s is already done and scheduled.) It’s going to be weird not photoshopping for days and days but I think I’ll manage.
I have an angsty Rumbelle gifset coming up (one of my prompts - for some reason everyone thought of angst, I don’t know why...it’s a mystery) shortly. It’s pretty but wallowing in angst.
But I got a hopeful Rumbelle idea last night so I’m going to make that next in the Rumbelle side of things! Which may be tomorrow, we’ll see. :) Next up is Neal. I have a nice idea for the favorite relationship prompt.
I just finished my latest Neal edit and now I’m only one day late on his week. Woohoo! However, now (or this evening more likely) I need to make some Rumbelle or some Rumple. I’m getting a serious need to make some Rumple edits or gifs now that we saw a glimpse into his psyche last episode. Tonight I’m going to think about what quote or picture to use as my base idea and start poking at it until I’m happy. (maybe even start on more than one if I can’t decide what to do first) Also, I’d like to do a Rumbelle set from one of my prompts. I want to get all those done before vacation if possible.

mmm...hard decision. we need some hope for rumbelle. because what we see on screen now so depressive. and it's not fairy tale belle with kind heart, actually i don't know who this girl is!( but i still adore rumple.;)
Yeah, I think it’s going to have to be Rumbelle first! Mostly because I cannot decide which Rumple idea to do.
Should I do Evil!Rumple? Is everyone thinking no, we don’t want evil Rumple? Or are they thinking yep, he’s fucking evil, deal with it, we love him?
Or maybe I should do Complex!Rumple? He is not just evil of course! There is a lot more to him even if y’all (non-Rumple fans) have forgotten.
And then there is woobie/angsty!Rumple. I have the beginnings of an edit idea and I probably should start poking at it now since that one will take a few days before I’m happy.
I finished up all the episode gifset prompts today so now it’s time to work on either a Rumbelle prompt (I have 3 or 4 left from when I asked for them) and put some pretty art in the tag or pick a Rumple art idea (I have a couple things I want to do). Decisions. Decisions.
I'll never understand why tumblr occasionally uploads one of my gifs with a stutter in the middle. It's annoying! I usually catch it before I hit post but didn't notice this time. I fixed it now, but it's out there being reblogged with the stutter. It didn't have a stutter when I made it! *sigh*

As for the coloring, yes I do it myself and I'm not much for psds so I just create anew for each edit/gifset. To be honest, I find that the base coloring and lighting means I need to adjust how I do things in different sets so that I don't find psds all that useful. I did visit coloring tutorials and downloaded a few psd examples so I could see what people do and then I just played until I got results I liked.
