So...from what I’m reading things looked dark, but Rumple did good and not bad? Yes? Should I gif things tomorrow? I might have time to do a couple sets.

yea! love evilRumple!;)) but love also kind man rumple. so i vote for complex rumple first of all! that's why we love him so much.:) and we need some hope for rumbelle without doubt
I have the Rumbelle one. It’s a little angsty and a little sweet (but all the prompts I got lean towards angst). And I think complex Rumple too since there is more to him than evil! Even if it can be hard to remember at the moment. Then evil!Rumple, deal with it, he’s evil and I love him. :)

mmm...hard decision. we need some hope for rumbelle. because what we see on screen now so depressive. and it's not fairy tale belle with kind heart, actually i don't know who this girl is!( but i still adore rumple.;)
Yeah, I think it’s going to have to be Rumbelle first! Mostly because I cannot decide which Rumple idea to do.
Should I do Evil!Rumple? Is everyone thinking no, we don’t want evil Rumple? Or are they thinking yep, he’s fucking evil, deal with it, we love him?
Or maybe I should do Complex!Rumple? He is not just evil of course! There is a lot more to him even if y’all (non-Rumple fans) have forgotten.
And then there is woobie/angsty!Rumple. I have the beginnings of an edit idea and I probably should start poking at it now since that one will take a few days before I’m happy.

That keeps going around, and it bugs the crap out of me. Knowing what’s going down and not stopping it is one thing, but hatting the fairies does not equal nuking the town.
We have callous disregard for everyone else and interference in rescue efforts. And that’s all plenty evil! No need to say he wanted everyone dead or tried to kill them. He simply didn’t care. Unless someone wanted to make a deal and had something he wanted, then he would care, but no one did try to make a deal with him to save everyone which does have me wondering a bit as to why they didn’t at least consider it. (They certainly made enough deals with him in FTL after all.)

I still don't understand how he and Belle can kiss and it doesn't break the curse when the very first time they kissed he almost completely returned to normal.
It's one of the things they have handwaved on the show other than to say 'magic is different here' without explaining what that means. My personal theory is that TLK can only work if you are open to it working. If you reject its curse breaking properties it won't break your curse. It seems likely since Rumple did reject it the first time as soon as he realized. But they haven't kissed in FTL since so I'm not sure.

I’m hoping for some answers on the many whys relating to the dagger too. And the sooner we get them, the better.
Yeah. I'm really hoping for some insight in ep 4! I'm okay with mysteries taking time to unfold or for small, almost throwaway bits (like Gold burying the dagger) not paying off for a while. But this is the central part of his story right now and every episode has neon signs pointing to it and yet his character motivations remain exceedingly opaque.
