Rumplestiltskin and Belle left magical sunset land on the regular to visit and have adventures. (and get supplies) It wasn’t just them sitting about and waiting for 30+ years.
I have no doubt.

OUAT BUT BETTER ...
now , i know jekyll was in ouat but i had some uh . issues . with how everything was handled there so toss that right out i’m doing my own thing , or at least making major edits to what was done before .
henry jekyll still originates from victorian london , & he still performs a stupid , stupid experiment , & yes , he does have someone he adored . no , he was not pressured by anyone to make the hj-7 , henry jekyll wanted to escape what society demanded of him . while not totally miserable with his life , jekyll enjoyed the freedom that came with being hyde , growing distant from his friends & his paramour — never telling them what was going on . of course , as all horrid experiments go , henry loses control of the transformations , writes a letter to a certain gabriel john utterson , & vanishes to the land of untold stories .
as a person is essentially in a time loop when in the land of untold stories , fleeing to it in the form of jekyll did stop the uncontrolled transformations , although symptoms associated still occurred ( sharp aches & pains , some dizzy spells , nausea ) . it was in the land of untold stories that jekyll learned some forms of control , fully aware that if ever he should leave , his inner demon would come back full force . at some point , he does encounter rumple , the encounter is messy & does involve a conversation about the elixir — where jekyll sets rumple straight because the elixir is not really splitting good from evil , it’s a form of escapism . admitting this to someone also sorta put things in perspective & jekyll ends up in a fairly depressed slump for an indefinite amount of time .
yes , jekyll does have an encounter with the heroes , where he’s just really exhausted & at this point he’s hit a point of ‘ well ok yolo ’. he’s left behind his old life , people he cared deeply for , because he managed to throw in his lot with both jekyll & hyde — suppressing all of his dark desires & also isolating himself ( he has literally no coping skills ) .
jekyll does not split hyde from his body , because he knows that’s stupid , nor does he want to . if anything , he just wants to be a whole person . still , he travels to storybrooke , where as expected , the horrible backlash from hyde happens & he sorta just runs off for a while , eventually coming back when he’s calmed down , but he tells no one where he went . he just tries to uh . move on . & of course , that’s really tough when he’s asked to tamper with the elixir for someone else’s sake , because it’s not MEANT for that .
no , he doesn’t try to kill belle , because he doesn’t blame rumple / the dark one for what happened to him . he knows he did it to himself . if he blames anyone , he blames hyde , which is like blaming himself .
tldr , he’s gotta live in this mess of a town & he’s depressed .
It’s nice to make art again. More Lucifer gifs are coming! And I do have some Robert Carlyle (maybe Rumple, maybe not) gifs in mind as well. :)

It was bad for the first 50 min....then it got all better :)
That’s what I read! And knowing how it turns out makes the previous stuff better too. :) It’s the first time in a while when the tags weren’t all ‘fuck you rumple’ at the end of the episode.

Yes because I need your pretty gifs in my life.
Thanks! I need some too. I can’t even find much to reblog.
So...from what I’m reading things looked dark, but Rumple did good and not bad? Yes? Should I gif things tomorrow? I might have time to do a couple sets.
I was thinking about the last episode of OUAT, and I’m wondering if there is any such person as Hook or if he is simply a reflection of who he is with. I’m trying to figure it out.
He seems to be whatever those around him want him to be. Is there any steel to him or is he all clay? Of course, with the frankly horrible writing it’s hard to figure out who anyone is on the show these days. Though for most of them we can point to a core characterization and Hook’s seems to be ‘love be the one you’re with.’
So I take it there is no reason to watch tonight’s episode? Lots of Hook and no Rumple? I’ll pass.
