"I thought [Green Lantern] would look more like a 1940s glamour girl, with a loose, draped silk cape and hood, which doesn't billow so much as it falls and drapes around her. I know this look may seem a bit dated, but I think it has a cool, sexy, timeless quality to it, that at the same time implies that Green Lantern is possibly dead herself and this is the era that she is from at the time of her death."
