ALEXA RAE CAMPBELL WAS A TROUBLEMAKER.
At least according to her uptight mother and too-busy-to-care techie father. But instead of grounding her like regular parents should do when their daughter breaks into their uncle's liquor store and sneaks off to a college party, they just decided to ship her off to some godforsaken town that she's convinced is straight out of a hallmark movie, weirdly specific festivals and all.
Lexi doesn't know why her parents think her Aunt Ella is gonna straighten her out, after all, she's about the only person more screwed up than Lexi herself. But hey, if it means she gets a full two years away from her parents before finally starting her life, then there's not much that she can do except complain about it.
After all, she has no money, no car, and practically no life.
And that's before Jess Mariano bulldozes into it.
Afterwards... well, there's no telling if they'll be an afterwards if she doesn't kill him before the school year is out.
