Ignis had been rather nervous when Aranea had pulled him aside to ‘talk’, thinking that she had noticed how he stared at her in battle. He simply enjoyed the beauty that was her and her lance in a fight, and figured she wanted him to stop. However, she surprised him by voicing concerns for them, but mostly Noctis.

They spoke for a while on things before he assured her that they were taking every precaution they could think of. Then he had impulsively leaned forward and kissed her cheek. “Thank you for caring.”

Aranea enjoyed all the STOLEN moments she was spending with the prince’s advisor. The two had formed such a strong bond, quickly, strnagely. The dragoon had never thought she would feel that way for someone; she had banished love from her life years ago now. But Ignis had managed to make her give another chance to love. For now, they were secretly seeing each other, leaving the prince’s camp while the others were playing King’s Knights. But with time, Aranea had come to want MORE than those discussions. She enjoyed talking with Ignis, he was amazing, but her desire for him had only grown with time. That evening, instead of just having a walk together, she had invited him inside her ship, once the others would be sleeping. She was surprised he had accepted; maybe he had also wanted this for a long time. 

She had a huge smile on her lips as she looked at him. She was so glad they were finally ALONE together. They could finally fully act their feelings. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deeply kissed him.

“Follow me. I’m afraid my bedroom isn’t much since it’s an airship, but I promise you’re still not gonna be disappointed.” She said as she as she took his hand and brought him with her.

When he heard about someone needing one of the mini chocobos, Prompto was worried at first. They had so many different needs than regular chocobos! So, he volunteered to go with the mini so that he could try to educate their new owner on how to take care of them. Arriving in the partially rebuilt crown city meant that he had a lot to look at but the job was more important. 

With the mini so close to him, Prompto only knocked on the door long enough to make damn sure that this was the right place. He heard something inside but he had absolutely no clue who the guy was other than his name was Ignis and he needed the mini. It... made little sense to him. 

Until the door opened. 

Prompto blinked at the use of sunglasses until it hit him. Oh. The man was blind. That was why he needed the mini! “Hi! I’m Prompto Argentum. Here with me is your requested mini chocobo. I ah... she has a few different needs than a regular sized chocobo. I can run you through a few things if you’d like.”

“What? Oh, hello Noctis, did you have a nice time with Prompto?” Ignis put the reports he was reading down and smiled up at Noctis, “Oh? This, it’s quite alright. I’ll sleep when I’m done reading through these reports. There’s only a few more to go. You head to bed if you’d like.”

There were obvious rings around his eyes hidden only slightly by his glasses, and the Ebony cans next to him were all empty, though he randomly picked one up and brought it to his lips. Tipping it up and getting nothing he looked away from Noctis to glare at it. He gathered up the others quickly, intent on putting them in the recycling and perhaps grabbing another.

“I use only the BEST strategies.” Ignis wiggled his eye brows at her.

He’d listened for some time as she went from the actual topic to her worries about said topic and then began a slow burn panic. So, he decided enough was enough and made the informed decision that kissing her was the only way to quiet her. Also the most enjoyable.

Ignis gave her a strange look, rather taken aback by the comment, “My hair makes me special does it?”

He twisted her hips in his hands a bit, his face showing extreme concentration, smiling a bit as she told him he was probably too nice. “So, if I shaved it all off, would I still be attractive? Or, would it kill it all, and I’d just have my niceness left?”
