However after weeks of planning and discussing, we finally came up with the idea of a virtual Merdeka Weekend (30.08.20)! This virtual event is set to be a new experience for us all to connect with artists, designers, makers and make memorable experiences. The virtual event will be divided into 5 categories:- -Behind The Scenes – makers will let our audience catch a glimpse into their creative work and talk about their products/brand. -Studio Demonstration – take a peek into how makers create, design and assemble products they bring to markets. -A Day in the Life – catch a glimpse into a maker’s daily life/how they spend their day using their own products. -Tutorials – live zoom workshops by makers for their customers. -Family & Health talks by healthcare professionals that benefit us as a community.
