So i have been playing around with merino and eucalyptus leaves and this is my most successful print yet! I still have a lot to learn but this is a start. I want to make a whole range of garments using this dye technique-it produces colourful beautiful patterns without any harsh chemicals which can effect your skin and contribute to toxic textile waste. All you need is leaves and hot water! Also, using nz produced unbleached wool means that the clothes will be fire safe, moisture-wicking, insulating and in need of few washes, perfect for traveling, fire dancing, outdoor pursuits.. Basically all the fun things! Ideally i would produce a few different tops and leggings, skirts, gloves, legwarmers and dresses, for any and all genders as well as special things on request..
