YOU  HAVE  EVERY  REASON  TO  WORRY  IF  YOU  ALLOW  THOUGHTS  OF  UNCERTAINTY  TO  CLOUD  YOUR  PEACE  OF  MIND  AND  TO  AFFLICT  YOU  WITH  A  STRONG  FEELING  OF  ANXIETY.     (  What  good  does  worrying  do  other  than  making  you  suffer  twice  though  ?  )     &&     whereas  Ivar  is  a  true  believer  concerning  the  ancient  faith  of  his  ancestors,  believes  in  several  gods  and  goddesses  rather  than  only  one  single  deity,  he  has  grown  up  inclined  to  never  leave  anything  to  chance.  To  him  it  seems  like  worry  is  made  for  people  who  think  they  have  something  of  meaning  to  lose.  What  is  there  to  lose  for  him  other  than  his  own  life  ?  He  chuckles  in  response,  lips  curling  as  he  looks  up  with  arched  eyebrows  to  consider  the  other  man.  Was  he  truly  looking  for  his  insight  ?  Knowing  it  might  result  into  mockery  ?  Ivar  has  been  mocked  throughout  all  his  life,  he  no  longer  bothers  himself  with  false  reservation.  His  thumb  runs  along  the  sharpened  edge  of  his  woodcarving  knife  before  his  gaze  drops  again  and  he  resumes  to  carve  a  wooden  figure.     ❝     You  call  it  worry,  I  call  it  not  being  prepared  well  enough.  There  wouldn’t  be  anything  to  worry  about  if  you  have  scoped  out...  every,  single,  possible,  way...  how  it  could  fail.     ❞     He  comments  with  a  quiet  drawl  and  shrugs  nonchalantly.     ❝     Do  you  know  what’s  the  biggest  difference  between  me  and  my  brothers  ?  Except  for  the  obvious———     ❞     Ivar  looks  up,  suddenly,  WIDE  -  EYED,  and  making  a  waving  gesture  to  his  legs  before  he  sits  up.  Both  knife  and  wood  put  aside.     ❝     They  fail  to  see  how  privileged  they  are  in  wealth,  carrying  a  well  respected  family  name  and  in  strength.  They  take  everything  they  have  for  granted.  Everyone  who  is  not  entirely  enslaved  to  lesser  men  does.  So,  what  reason  do  they  have  to  rush  ?  They  want  to  conquer  the  world  but  they  can  not  wait  a  few  days  to  enter  their  battles  well  prepared.  I’d  say  there  is  no  shame  in  delaying  things  when  it  promises  you  better  chances  to  succeed.  Now,  are  you  going  to  be  just  as  ignorant  like  them  ?     ❞
