I have to say this is one of the best series I have seen this year. The trailer doesn’t give away much, and it would make you think that the story is about children’s nightmares, but it’s definitely more than that. It’s more about family, the terror of losing who you love most and how it affects your mind and soul. It’s also about acceptance of the unknown and putting together memories like puzzle pieces. Some might think that this series is a slow burn, but for me, the dialogue and the acting are quite absorbing.
Is it scary? Definitely. There are a few jump scares and they are effective. I think the most horrifying sight is the Bent-Neck Lady, once you get to know who she is.
