Last movie I saw: X-Men: Apocalypse which, I know, okay? I know. It’s a sickness. I see the blatant queerbaiting and terrible plot and yet I can’t stop watching. I need help, not hate.
Last song you listened to: Good Day by Nappy Roots - we evacuated due to the hurricane and I needed something with bounce to keep me driving the last few miles home.
Last show you watched: Great British Bake Off. I was rooting for Selassi, but I’m thinking Benjamina is gonna take it.
Last book you read: Oh, uhm, book book and not fic? J.D. Robb, Apprentice in Death. I love formula mysteries, especially if they include trope-y romance novel elements.
Last thing you ate: Starbuck Valencia Orange Refresher and pretzels. The power outage destroyed most of our food so we’re making do while the stores restock.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be: Honestly, I don’t even know. We went to my friends on the Emerald Coast (or as they call it, lower Alabama) and the beach was pretty fucking nice. Not like, change your life nice, but nice in a hey we’re not being hurricaned to death way. I think a beach with friends. Or possibly Rome. I always wanna be in Rome.
Where would you time travel to: Is it wrong if I say 2017? Like, I for real don’t want the past and I can’t handle the idea of a real future. But if I could get the fuck out of 2016 that would be nice.
The first thing you would do with lottery money: Get an investment agent to help me plan responsibly. We have student loan debts that are unreal when viewed in numbers, plus a kid we should send to college so we’d want someone with some knowhow to help us decide how to prioritize.
What fictional character would you hang out with: I cannot answer this question reasonably. I mean, I know me and my taste in fictional characters and what I would answer would be like Magneto and even I know that sounds bad. Like, take fiction away from me because I do not know how to use it safely, is what I’m saying.
My responsible answer is I want to hang out with Joan Watson because she seems like she’s fun but also practical and beautiful.
