A small test that I wanted to do for TB. ;) The character animations were commissioned, and then I put together everything. The forest was made in Photoshop and After Effects.

Arranged in the order by how much I will fangirl when I see them together.
Jane Porter/Captain Amelia (Tarzan/Treasure Planet)
No surprise at all! XD What may be surprising however is that the is the only crossover pairing on this list! I think this is also the pairing that I "fangirl" over the most. (O//_//O) But “why these two?!” you ask? I just think that these two would compliment each other really well if they met. Everything about them just clicks IMO, from animation (well, both were drawn by the same dude after all), the fashion, overall designs, personalities, etc.
Not to mention that there is nothing that would go against them actually meeting in canon. After all, we have NO IDEA what year it is on earth while Treasure Planet is taking place, and Amelia spends all her time traveling between galaxies, sooo. >:3

Sapphire/Ruby AKA: Garnet (Steven Universe)
When people ask me (an aro) what an ideal romantic relationship would look like, I would say “Garnet”. The commitment, tenderness and trust between Ruby and Sapphire is simply admirable (as well as overwhelmingly adorable). Rebecca Sugar, you will kill me with the sugary sweetness one day. <3
Ahiru/Fakir (Princess Tutu)
My innocent little human/duck couple!! Why you so disgustingly cute!!! The youngest pairing here (14 and 15) and they are just too pure for this world!! Somebody protect these innocent cinnamon rolls!! <3
Koizumi/Ootani (Lovely Complex)
One of the few romantic comedy mangas/animes that I really like, and it is all because of the chemistry between these two dorks. Their feelings for one another had so much time to develop and grow and it was a joy to witness.
Korra/Asami (Avatar; The Legend of Korra)
This one is quite complicated, because my shipping for this pairing is more based on head-canons than what we actually got in canon. I love that this is the complete opposite to Korra/Mako, that she first became close friends with Asami and it then developed on from there to something more.
But even if this pairing is canon and we are all beyond happy with that, most of us fans do realize that Korra/Asami did not get the amount of screen-time they deserved, and their relationship´s development suffered because of that. But like I said, I still ship these two, and I WILL buy the upcoming comics only to see what these two will come up with together ((My little bi-babies!! <3)).
Moominmamma/Moominpappa (Moomin)
These two are so darn supportive of each other that I could just die! When either one of them is having a midlife-crises, then the other one will be there supporting them and their dreams. :,3
And even if I do dislike the love-at-first-sight cliché, you gotta admit that their first meeting (as show down below) was uber cute!!! I love following them and their small family both in the books, 1940s comics and anime. :3
Megamind/Roxanne (Megamind)
They are so dorky and flirty when they are together!! X3 I love the chemistry between them and would love to see a sequel to “Megamind” just to see more of them.
PS: I hate that he lied to her. I hate it. But he did not make excuses afterwards. He KNEW that he had screwed up and had lost her, and he did let her go. Then they grew from there and started over after he had proven himself. :3
Barny/Robin (How I Met Your Mother)
OH, do I hate the ending of this show. They built up these two for SEASONS only to break it all in 5 minutes so that Tedd could get her instead. WEAK!!! So yeeeeaaah... The alternative ending is the only canon one for me.
Dr Gregory House/James Wilson (House M.D.)
Throwing in a platonic ship here because they are too cute to leave out from this list. :D House can be so bloody problematic sometimes, which include being an ass-hat towards Wilson. Like a MAJOR ass-hat. But they need each other, and House would DIE to protect the friendship they share. If there is anything the final season proved it was that House valued Wilson more than anybody/anything else.
Dr Temperance Brennan/Seeley Booth (Bones)
I identified with Brennan throughout the whole first season when it came to the notion of love. Sadly my aro head-canon for her kinda shattered in season 2, but I am okay with it, because I got to experience one of the most compelling TV-couples I have seen. I adore how they support each other, how they are prepared to do anything to protect their little family, and how understand they are of one another even if they are so different.
And I also love that they, Brennan especially, have their limits. When Seeley lied to her, she was OUT! Out and gone and would not come back until he fixed what he had fucked up. And he did.
PS: I also really like the other relationships in this show, like Angela/Jack and Dr. Cam/Arastoo.
