            GODDAMN IT , why did he have to try and steal those people’s supplies ?? now he’s limping through the fucking forest with a gunshot wound in his leg and barely a few rounds left. he was glancing over his shoulder to see if anyone had caught up to him but he , instead , had found a few walkers that managed to keep up the pace. he shot both in the head and continued on foot with a slowly decreasing pace. he was panting ; one hand on his wound that was bleeding out through his fingers and the other holding his pistol up to his chest , at the ready for any more enemies to jump out at him. but , instead , it was his lucky day. he had stumbled across a cabin and hopefully it was vacant so he could patch up and get revenge on those fuckers. he stepped up on the porch and was about to open it cautiously but , before he knew it , his eyes had fluttered shut and he fell down the stairs , passed out from blood loss.

okay. this looks REALLY bad. it’s clear from the expression on his face. there’s a small “sss” sound from him before he casually, but also NOT SO CASUALLY turns to the other. ❛ ... looks bad, ❜ he’ll already agree, ❛ but, woul’ you ... believe me if i said a DEMON’S makin’ me do it? ❜ yeah. that undeniable truth is bound to be believed.

The world had gone to shit. Blaine had thought it was bad when the wall around Seattle went up. That was nothing compared to this. It had started slowly before escalating quicker than anyone could have anticipated. Blaine had been on paranoid survivalist brain not long before shit hit the fan, and by some stroke of luck he’d set up a ‘just-in-case-of-apocalypse-kit’ complete with brains to last him a couple of months if he rationed them. When proverbial hell broke loose he’d never been more thankful for the crazy shit brains compelled him to do. Who knew one of his whims would come in handy. That was a couple of months ago and the only reason he was faring better than the rest of the undead. Though not by much. He was better in that he hadn’t gone full on Romero yet, but he could tell it was coming. Slowly starving and losing his sense of self hadn’t been the way Blaine wanted to die. If he had to pick he’d have gone with quietly in his sleep after a successful life, though with his line of work and the turn his life had taken that hadn’t seemed likely for quite some time. 

He’d taken to following groups of Romeros around when it looked like they’d gotten excited about something. Occasionally it’d turn up something interesting, but he was getting sick of the stupid bastards leading him to another damn deer. He’d tried animal brains out of desperation once and never again. He was beginning to think the Romeros were the result of a new strain of the virus given that they seemed to lose control much quicker than himself. Where was the good doctor to formulate a theory when you needed him? He decided to take a look at whatever the excitement was about anyway. Maybe today would be his lucky day.
